O yeah u know how Psalm 37 says delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart...?When we delight ourselves in Him He literally gives us what we should desireso as long as u r in line with Him what u desire as long as it is not ungodly he has given to u to desiresometime there are things we desire in a spouse and we see them as soon as we meet them, but there also some things that we desire that God would ask us to call out of them in prayer...they may not be immediately obvious in the person but they are there

when u r in situations with ppl u r not sure abt...pray 'LET THERE B LIGHT' it is amazing...relate it to God's word being light...it shows all hidden intentions ..........

remember Heb 4:12 from the amplified says...the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the [a]breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.

Pray that prayer point fervently and watch God move

Friday afternoon. He stood looking out of the cracked apartment window onto the busy streets below. The cars looked like ants. The trees had no leaves, just branches ...the remains of another winter season. Almost every house in the neighbourhood has ice glaciers streaking beneath the roofing. It was freezing as heck. They had just managed to survive the chilling - 30 degrees during the weekend still, he could feel the iciness stinging at his insides. He needed some warmth. He needed some hot heating. He wanted to be consoled. His stone-cold heavy heart needed someone or something to shed warmth into it, that in an odd way would awaken him to the life he had always wanted to live.

"Jesus loves you and wants you. Money and drugs won't take away the pain," ...the words from the other day replayed themselves in his head. She held his hands in hers and looked him straight in the eyes. He felt very weird. He'd been very wary of females....infact, he almost hated them. Yes,....he did. Ever since Danielle left him, broke his heart and poured his love down the drain with the dirty bath water, he swore revenge. Swore to live life on the edge, biggest player there ever was. Money maker, as long as he had success and fortues in the international stock markets, it was all he needed. He needed healing from bitterness and disgrace. His mother left his father when he was just a kid. He never met her but he had remained hopeful that all women were not the same when he met Danielle. But he was about to be fooled...."What gives this girl the guts to tell me about Jesus?" ..he thought. He looked up at her in attempt to lash out in anger but was paralyzed by her bright blue eyes. He wiped his eyes and looked again. She looked like an angel ... her words were plain, yet struck cords in him. His arguments were useless. She had an answer for everything. He was mad but helpless at the same time. The anger welled up to his neck but he couldn't let it out. The pain and hurt and bitterness came back. He clenched his fist and shook his hand out of hers. He stood up, towering over her. You could see the veins portruding along his arms. Jesse walked away....into the cold night and slammed the door behind him.

She ran after him. "Jesse !!! Give your life to Christ Jesse!!!!!!! Alchohol is no sedative to replace what u really need. Don't be overcome by evil but overcome it with good," he kept walking and disappeared into the dark alley.It's now friday afternoon. He's looking out of the cracked apartment window onto the busy streets below. The cars look like ants. He feels a comforting hand over his shoulder and turns around quickly. No one is there. Just darkness. Jesse steps away in a frenzy. He starts crying. No, big 'ol Jesse with the huge ego is actually wailing like a baby.....He slumped to the dusty floor and listened to the asian girl he met on the plane to New-York from Tokyo and had come to confide in due to her odd wisdom. He realized that untill did this one thing, everything else other than his career would continue to go wrong. His money would never save him. Finally, he whispers the words all of heaven had been waiting to hear ... "Come into my life Jesus ..."

FLYING FREE ...

Darkness looming in, hovering over the dark lonely space. Everything so still one could hear a pin drop. The more he thought about it, the more it caved in like some cloudy, foggy mist, penetrating, slowly sucking, choking engulfing everything in sight as he saw what was once a rain bow of colours turn to shades of grey and black. The more he tried to fight,kicking and screaming, flinching at the slightest twitch, the worse it was. He fought with carnal weapons but was only shadow boxing. He thought he was hardened but he really wasn't because if so, It wouldn't hurt so bad and this gentle ache inside after nothing would cease to be. Staggering backwards, away from the fog did nothing to sway the fact that his left leg has started to grey upwards until he was waist deep. In only a split second, he would be steps away from being the very thing that he avoided. Rivers of blackened tears wouldn't wash away this one....it was already too late.....now face deep....the darkness tapering itself to his skin, about to cover the last patch of coloured flesh left....his right eye.And then finally, ............He exhaled. He let it go.....he released, he breathed out an air that repelled and pushed back the darkness. He closed his eyes and something broke loose within. He exhaled again with a greater determination and the darkness ripped of his skin like a piece of tape stripped off a carton box. And then he exhaled some more, He blew and blew out that misty air mixed with salty sweat and body heat. He now stood ten feet tall, free to fly. The green in the trees returned, blues in the ocean painted back, the orange in the sunset restored as a work of art. He exhaled, he exhaled, he came to terms with this existence, he recognized what he had been thru and what needed to be done. He realized that Jesus "DID" overlook the crucifiction so there would a greater element being the RESURRECTION thus he could do the same. He shook off judgement, he made peace with this complexity, He found the infamous Love Chapter in 1 CORINTHIANS 13 .....and HE ...........FORGAVE...All thru life, He searched for affection, appreciation and acceptance, for friends that inspired and prosperity. He searched for real love and family, for reassurance and assertion somewhere in this angry mix but even much more, he learned to adopt the things that make life worth living, he learnt what true love, respect and appreciation is. He learnt that until he loved inspite, there would be no freedom. He learnt that smiles count, consideration even more, empathy the most, that the hardest and most incovenient things to do are those that really make a difference, he learnt how to fly free. He learnt forgiveness...It's all about letting the very things that hold you captive inside loose....it's about true love. Someone said, "Forgiveness is not a gift you give someone else but a gift you give yourself."

GET A FIRM GRIP..... His word is true, His faithfulness a reality!

Chiselling into the rocks to go up wasn't easy. Click, chisel, leg in foot hole here, upper body hauled up to get fingers in a hand grip there as Jenny sweating and panting found a way to overcome her first climb up the rocky mountain. Then, a boulder above shook.... uh-oh ..... the very boulder that held her support. The surrounding rocks began to give way giving a crackling sound as they fell to infinity, the long way down. Even worse, the ropes began to rip as the rocks hit against the latches, grinding the grips that fastened her in place. One last foot up to go and she'd be able to reach the tip of the mountain and grip it strong enough to pull her body over. Any moment from now, the rope was about to snap. With heaving lungs and an outstretched left arm, she etched up one more time and gripped the small rock with her left hand. The entire heavy boulder let loose, rolling over the cliff missing her by only an inch ...

God is so faithful. To me, He's been everything....yup, even when we mess up and get up again, He is still faithful. You know like.... He always stand by His word and if you trust Him and get a firm grip. He will never let you fall. But you know, it's beyond the trust we are used to as humans. You have to trust him with your spirit and die to flesh. You have to trust without an iota of doubt, you have to trust without thinking of Plan B incase He does not come through....thinking of Plan B means you don't think the Lion of the Tribe of Judah is mighty enough. Listen, He is great enough to redeem you and preserve everything that is connected to you. You have to get a firm grip on Him, get a firm grip on His word.

Someone descibed it as "dying to all flesh" meaning you have to let all your physical emotions and mental reasoning die and let God's Word take the overall precedence and control over the situation. you have to zoom in on His word for that specific time so much so that the scripture is all you can think about. The scriptures that say, He will never forsake you, the scriptures that say He has caused all grace to abound towards you, the scriptures that say all things work together for your good and your path is directed towards sweatless success!

At this point, you become one with the personal revelation from the Word of God you have received and nothing else matters. You just know you will NEVER go down in life! Greater is He that lives in you....and indeed, this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith !!! Believe His word! He did it again and again and will do it for you! He is the King of Kings, The Alpha and Omega, He foreknew the ending from the beginning, He raised Jesus from the dead and gave us the Holy Spirit who is ever around to help and counsel us!

Get a firm grip!!

CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD

MYA: Where are you God?

GOD: I never left, right by your side.

MYA: C’mon, let’s get practical a tad. You knoweth all things. You know how I feel right now. (Getting a bit restless) I need more of your wisdom to get through this. If you’ve never left, why did this come up? Why did I make the mistakes I made? Why can’t I have a regular life? Aaaarrggghh!! ( Vigorously throwing punches at an imaginary person)

GOD: Well, true…. I know how you feel and that’s because I love you enough to know. I needed you to tell me so I could connect with your specific need and reach out to you.
Wisdom? My love ….wisdom have I given thee. Where is your bible and Rhapsody devotional; did you read it yesterday? It’s all you need. Meditate and be one with it. Then pray and take actions of faith based on what I have told you.
The issue is not that it popped up but how to overcome it and prevent it next time. Greater is He that is in you. Lastly, mistakes?? I warned you though. I was there in signs, the words/counsel of others of faith, My Word and of course “YOUR COMMON SENSE.” It ain’t rocket science you know. It was very obvious I cared, I still do; and you know I do. Just know this – that all things worketh for your good no matter what. I have forgiven the ignorance of the past, move forward and beware....next time might be very costly.

MYA: (Rolls eyes in confusion ........*silence* .........deep thought) You did not tell me that Joe was not my future man. I gave him my heart and placed all in him only to be devastated. It was my fault in a way for being vulnerable but then, do I then keep chasing all the guys that come my way simply because they are not exactly what I want. But then, the ones I want are the ones that are not approved by you over time. I just feel Your eyes of truth blazing on me after I start getting in love mode….(sigh!) After some hard headedness, I realize though and them I’m like….How could you have thought ????? I wished you just appeared to me in a vision and spoke clearly on things like this….. ( hands over face, mind still boggled. Bittersweet emotions of anger and guilt)

GOD: How will that help your faith to grow? Should you then depend on the “spectacular” and forget the other ways I speak to you everyday and nudge you in the right direction? You of all people know if I have not given you the go-ahead, then you need to relax and zero in on your spiritual life/ future/ career. If My work is done sooner than expected, you will know. YOU NEED TO BECOME A MATURE CHRISTIAN AND ALL FLESH MUST DIE. You are still allowing your emotions/feelings to meddle. Why do you suddenly need Me to appear and speak up the moment you start feeling butterflies for Joe Bloke ???? You have to wait on the I AM that I AM. Hmmm, my beloved? Dost thou hear me? Don't allow emotions cloud your Inner Witness - the Holy Ghost inside of you which revealeth all things and spiritual truths.

MYA: LOLLLLL, Lord !!! Such Harsh correction but I know its out of love. Day by Day, you reveal yourself to me and your will for my Life. I am determined to walk the path You have set before me. (speaking in tongues for some moments.....kalibrondakashe halimakaya .....hands outstreched towards ceiling....soaking in God's presence as His comfort soothes and comforts) ......My feet will follow your footsteps henceforth! kundakanze malekionza. Okay, so how am I meant to know who to marry with these Christian guys approaching me if you just won’t spell it out. So I can keep chasing them away right?

GOD: Well, yes .......... and no. Emotions, emotions…. Check deep within you, you know the vision I have given you concerning your companion….and so? (Insert whatever vision God has given you concerning your future here)
Was it God given or not?
(If it was not God inspired or inspired by the likes of $$$$, Bradd Pitt and Halle Berry, then replace it with a God inspired one first.)
– even My Spirit inside you bears witness this? (Mya nods in approval)You have not seen it come to fruition yet? ….it is not yet time it means. PATIENCE. You see, compare a relationship as Christ and the church whom He shed his blood for out of love.... the deepest and highest expression of love that ever existed. A love that is complete with all the material/financial enablement it needs to keep it going such that it has a vision to accomplish....a future to look forward to & remain steady even through any bumpy roads ahead. THAT is love ….. very rare but if you wait on me, it is yours! Surely, I have worked on you and trained you enough to know that …. In other words, the man must be as Christ is and must be able to minister to you as Christ ministered to the church spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically and all that the God-way. My love, I have put a high standard for you, even your own wants/needs can’t beat that. Walk in My Word. I have forgiven the ignorance of the past but now, DON’T COMPROMISE THE WORD OF GOD and Don’t ignore information/books that guide Godly relationships. It's a training for you as well to build yourself for such a time. And at that time, everything will favour you both and fall in place!

MYA: Ok, Ok ….but see now….Mr. Seth has been on my case for 8 months. Is he the One?

GOD: You have the mind of Christ ….what has it spoken?

Don’t get me wrong, those things are good, a woman should but not forgetting wats true

Beauty is virtue and an issue that runs deeper than the surface for beauty within flows outwards indeed
It is skin deep, beneath her flesh

Everyone would like to be the rabbit that shred the fox to pieces ...

If the righteous man is saved from trouble, question is are you righteous? Do you proceed from God? Come on now, ask yourself.

If you are in Christ, do you know that you are born of God and are his righteousness ? Romans 4:25 says that Jesus was delivered for our justification. If that is so, I mean, the bible said it and the bible is the word of God.... then you are justified!

1 John 1:9 - He came to cleanse you from unrighteousness! meaning if you are in Christ, you are the righteaoussness of God, the proof of his equity! The ability to stand before Him with boldness!

And 1 John 5:4 tells us that everything that proceeds from God overcomes the world and we know that we are born of God for the world did not give us the life that we have. If we can know this, we know that a christian is not weak, a christian does not seek God because he needs something, A Christian is someone who is Christ-like .....who has a power the world cannot give. One who has received life and the enablement, sufficiency and ability of the Spirit of God. So why do you be-little yourself so ???

Halleluyah!!!! YOU, yes you have overcome the world and all its circumstances thereof but you have to know the Word of God and what it says about you. It has so much for you. Locate yourself in the word of God today. It's going to take a concious effort, it may seems like work but do it with gladness for there is a bigger picture....a greater glory....

Greater is He that is in me than he who is in the world!! I can do all things because i know who I am. I have located myself and my purpose in God's word. Much more, i have a personal revelation that has become real to me and it puts the springs in my steps, propelling me through the times i need it the most.

Has it become real to you? Learn to locate yourself in the Word through the knowledge of it ... Those who have located themselves will overcome when the tests of life come... God wants you to be solid and unmovable with joy and fulfillment to the overflow but you are a free moral agent and you have a part to play in your destiny. Whatever it is, you can do it, you can handle it, things will always work out for you no matter the line-up of events. The more you focus on the word of God and take your mind off the situation, the more you are being empowered with might, daily moulded into what it takes to spin things around in half a second, the more your seeming troubles diminish. Make up your mind to overcome come what may!

Confession Sessions

A word a day keeps the devil at bay ....lets keep our recollection of the scriptures sharp and alive until we don't have to think too much before scriptures pop into our heads. Don't ignore knowledge. Be a participator in the divine! What scriptural Confessions have inspired you?- Quote them and let's memorize & confess until our scriptural hard-drive is enlargened! To be a doer of the word is to speak the word...to have the word in your daily vocabulary.

I like to have these sessions everyday where i just speak the word of God over myself and its just so refreshing and energizing. I do this especially when i feel weird, sad or unsure about things.(..might i add those are emotions that are not consistent with the God life in us) Memorizing them and then talking them out loud alone is heavy ammunition against any strongholds or challenges life tries to throw at you. Talking it out will register it in your Spirit and thus program your Spirit for success by the Word. These are prophecies! You are the prophet of your life and should prophesy glory and grace into your life for just as you speak, it will come to pass as long as the Spirit of God is in you! And as you do it, especially when you speak in tongues, your spiritual battery is recharged, the thermometer revvs to full heat because of the inspiration bursting forth from you. You are charting the course of your future, how you end up is dependent on you, God has already given you His word and the Power in Christ. What are we waiting for? Refuse to settle. It also makes me remember how prayer is much more meaningful when i am speaking the Word of God.... "the bible says the word never comes back void always does what it was sent out to achieve" (paraphrased)

Plus, everywhere Jesus prayed...he prayed "aloud"....lol, prayer is not silent ....that would be thinking. Consider it ... many have been "thinking" their prayers and fell asleep in the process ?! Neither was the word for us to read and keep in our head only. Go for the word!

Alright brethren, here we go !!!

I have the God life in me...the power of death and darkness is erased from my life and my family. This life in me brings beauty to my home, to my job, everything. It guides me to make decisions that produce life. I create life in others....i am giver of hope to all i come in contact with.

"Romans 8:28 (NLT) - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who have been called according to his purpose"

Halleluyah, All things worketh for my good....circumstances are positioned for my dominion and victory!! I love God with all my heart. I have been called for a purpose ....a destiny that is sure, therefore....I end up well in the name of Jesus!

"Romans 8:37 (NLT) - No, despite all these things overwhelming, victory is ours through Christ who loved us"

Praise God!!! No matter what the situation is, I have the victory. It does not matter what is trying to overwhelm me at work or in my mind, i subject it to the word of God that says Victory is mine through Christ who has loved me. Christ loves me.... He loves me so much and he has led me to victory. I will never be defeated!!! ....kadradonsky labaya....(speak in other tongues!!!)

Woooo!!!! I love this one personally..... I refuse to get emotions all splaterred everywhere! I am strong and very courageous! God is with me, Imagine it!!! I am never alone .....I have a mastor, a savior, a brother....more importantly a loving father and closest friend. He is loyal, He can be trusted and He says He will never leave me!!! What can beat that??? God is my security and assurance. I refuse to be perturbed by anything, i lay my emotions subject to this word.... i refuse to be discouraged but i take up a sound mind! I have a sound mind!!! I have a sound mind!!! I can face a Lion in the face and rip it apart....woooo!!! such is the courage i take up today!

The Light of God's Word

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ in his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (1 John 1:7)

The Word of God is light(Psalm 119:105), and the scripture tells us to walk in the light as God is in the Light. In other words, we're to walk under the same light in which God dwells and functions.

I believe that God's light is the sort which puts all things in perspective in life, there are some lights that though they be a light, do not illuminate fully enough to see clearly, giving us a blurry vision of things.

This means we're to walk in the light of God's Word. The people of the world can't understand that light since they're not born into that realm of life. But we can walk in the light and have fellowship with God, because we're born of the Word (1Peter 1:23)

Walking in the light as God is in the light means your judgements and opinions are based on the light of God's Word. Under that light, you don't see poverty, sickness, disease, death, failure or impossibilities. When you agree with what the Word says about you, you're walking in God's light. God has given you His Word to light up your path so there wouldn't be darkness or uncertainties as you journey through life.

So true. How many times have we chosen to look in light of our present situation and circumstances instead of what God has spoken concerning our future that we shall end up well; How many times have we refuted the word and chosen to cling to worry and fear which in turn made us stumble along the way?

The Bible lets us know that when you walk in the light, the blood of Jesus Christ automatically cleanses you from all sin. The world around us is full of sin: the newspapers, films, people and even the very air we breathe are defiled and God knows it. Then often times, we do things that are wrong without knowing, but thanks be unto God! He says when you walk in the light, you won't need to keep asking yourself, "what sin have i committed today?" The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses you automatically!

We must always walk in the light as He is in the light.That way, we'll never be weighed down by the burden or yoke of sin; rather, we'll be free to serve God and run the faith race without hindrances.

God is your Source !!

According to my daily devotional of days back.....

But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus ( Phillipians 4:19)

The way some people live, you would think what the Spirit of God said through the Apostle Paul in this scripture is, "My God shall supply all your needs according to how much you're paid at your place of work."

Your job ceased to be the source of income for you the day you were born again. Now God supplies all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Phillipians 4:19)

If you look at the sun, you will not see the shadows; In the same way, when you put your trust in God, you will stop chasing shadows. Stop seeing your job or your business as your source of income for God is your source The forces of nature will come down against you and try to force you to believe that your job or business is your source of income, but refuse it with ABSOLUTE VEHEMENCE! The Bible did not say, "Work, that you may have money." Rather, it tells us that the reason God wants you to work is so that you, "may have to give to him that needeth" (Ephesians 4:28) Your job is a medium or channel through which you bless others and n so doing, you are also rewarded. Giving is God's established medium to prosper you financially, never forget it.

Therefore, it doesn't matter how much you're paid at your job or business, never take it as your source of income. Now, the fact that God, rather than your job is your source doesn't mean you shouldn't handle your job well. Do your job with excellence and shun mediocrity, and the Lord will promote you.

Pray with me - I rejoice for I know i can forever rely on You to supply my every financial and material need because You're my source. I look up to you always for my promotion and prosperity. Thank you for bringing me to my place of inheritance in Christ Jesus, where I prosper financially and all my needs are met. Amen.

Thank you Jesus because i will never live for my paycheck or depend my existence on it or anyone. I am empowered to prosper in health and favour and even wealth on every side because i connect to the source and am replenished daily from the provider.

Brethren!!! Believe it ....it does not matter what is going on around you and the news u just heard that seems like a bump on the road. You are more than that. Refuse to be down, woooo.... shout "i refuse to be distracted" in ur closet...mutter it under ur breath at work, at school, on the commute.... "I am set in the course that i must follow, all things belong to me and every circumstance must obey the words of God come to life in my mouth." I command the four walls and depths of the earth and forces of nature to favour me.... llandalosshe karabaya!!!

Refuse to carry unecessary worry (Phil 4:6)
Refuse every thought that says you can't! NOOOO!!!

I tell you, you have to be immovable, unshakable, tough on the inside !!!!!! Whooo.... rejoice when the limitations show up, THEY ARE UNREALLLLLLL .... Halleluyah!

- STOP THE WORRYING!!!!!!!!!

1 peter 5: 7 Cast all your cares upon the Lord and forget all about it. Until you learn to depend on God, you cannot let go of the situation. Your freedom is to know that God has got your back!!!

What a life!!!! God's got my back !!!

2008 - The Year of Fulfillment !!!

The new year brings you great success and prosperity...the set time has come to be fulfilled in all God's plans and purposes for your lives and the future.

This was the prophecy we received in my church - 2008 - the year of fulfillment but it is up to us if we will decide to take the word of God and make it personal or not/ to war with circumstances this year until they subject themselves to the life of God in us and this message that we are indeed already fulfilled, those things which we ask will materialize but we have a role to play according to the word of God by our consistency and faith. This year, we will not have to struggle because the time for God to open the book of remembrance (Mal 3:16) concerning all we have ever wanted and needed for the future has fallen on 2008 according to the God calendar. - Mark 1:14-15, Acts 1:7. It is a shower of God's love for us.

When God has a plan for someone, he looks at the time for such a thing and that character of the timing e.g. Salvation through Jesus had a timing and the character of it was the birth of a born-again spirit filled christian. The ressurection and the glory defined by the miracles accompanying the apostles- the empowerment to live a glorious and victorious, righteouss life. A christian's life should never ever have ups and downs, we are children born of God through Christ Jesus. Let's declare that this year is forward and upward alone but guess what? are you determined to wake up everyday making that declaration in faith even in the eyes of unwavering opposition? I will never settle for less than who I am called to be and same for us all, .... it starts with confessing the word. 2008 is our time and our season. Let us receive it, I will never be disadvantaged in this life... God lives on the inside of me.... receive it. Psalm 102: 13, 16-18.

The Spirit himself know us better than we know ourselves and has brought to us everything. This is a year of joy and praise but better yet, we must also see a need in others and meet it as God has so loved us. Walk in love, make everything around you better than you met it.

It can only get better as we yeild ourselves to the word of God and find sufficiency in God's divinity manifested upon our ability that makes us achieve over and beyond our human capability. Amen! I believe we have great testimonies this year whether we choose to or not. I see every so-called challenge as an opportunity to create a success. The things we see are but a mirage, a mirage, a mirage!!! We must look to the word of God and His Spirit in us. We must speak faith-filled words to one another and walk in love to build up and not to break down, to encourage and to mould an enviable destiny by the power of the Spirit.... we operate as one whole, one body, a peoples propelled by the force of wisdom & great influence in Jesus Name!

If you can only just receive it, u will walk in it despite what is going on around you and in the world at large... it's not about what's going on. The word of God brought alive inside you and activated always to sustain its own.

Things God Taught me in 2007

Aye indeed, what a good year it has been. I have seen growth, i have seen perseverance and yup, I have seen maturity. God taught me lots of stuff in His own little way of dealing with us humans and our free-wills...sometimes, quite humorous and others stern, Reminds me of how a Father should be but bottom line, in all these, i see his love for me and His children, I want to recap on some of the things i have learnt, some in the most glamorous and other in the not so glamorous ways. But i know i am glamorous (laughs) ... i know 'cus God told me so this morning- that I am the apple of His eyes. Anyways, back to business! Not like we may be new to any of these, yet we are reminded on different occassions and areas in our lives where God is dealing with us and pruning us in such.

In 2007, I learnt to:

1. Keep myself in an atmosphere of joy always:

Honestly, the bible is not kidding when it says "The Joy of the Lord is your strength". I am a living testimony of what being joyful can do. How easy it is to sulk and worry or be despondent in the face of a challenging situation. Yea right! You can say that again .... geez! tis that easy to frown huh? but that does not exactly solve the issue does it? I made up my mind to smile in the face of adversary... or even if i couldn't smile, I could as well sing praises and sing away all the cares. Joy is such a remedy for youth, how much more younger & healthier the world would be. Why be afraid or anxious when i have the Lord of Hosts on my side, the Commander in Chief of the Armies of Heaven, Jehovah Jireh, My provider? Surely not. Even 1 Tim 1:7 says we were not given a spirit of fear or timidity. I have learnt to ahhhhhh.....b-r-e-a-t-h-e! It's not that serious. I love to laugh ... i need to get back on my 5 mins daily laughing session.

2. To keep growing my faith.

Faith is not denying the fact but denying that fact the ability to dominate you and dictate the course of the future.

Faith is the response of the human spirit to the word of God.

Faith, faith .... "without faith, it is impossible to please God." We hear that so many times but how many of us are really walking in faith? 2 Corin 5:7. Ok, so maybe we are but is our faith strong and unwavering the face of opposition. Ah! my faith cannot stagger, I can confidently say that to the measure of faith God has dealt to me (because every christian has faith- Rom 12:3b), i have added to it and grown it and it is growing continously. Rom 10:17 I am the David of my time and i am doer of great miracles! Each time i hear/remember the words of God concerning something, there has got to be a corresponding response in my spirit leading me to a action of faith that will produce results. Indeed, faith without works is dead.

3. To be consistent and stong in my Lovewalk!

Walking in love is so divine. But what we sometimes forget is that walking in love comes with forgiveness- (forgiving is fogetting) letting go of bitterness, treating others as we would treat ourselves and going the extra mile to be in good terms with someone (who you just got out of a beef with/ hurt you extremely) whom you would just not feel the urge to talk to. 1 John 4:16-21. Holding grudges will create a barrier to the extent that God can work in you and through you.

I believe that 2008 will be greater than 2007. God is taking us to a greater level as we dig deeper into relationship with him. Remain blessed!

The more i know you, the more i want to know
And the more i have known, the more i realize i need to know you
And after knowing, i find something else i never knew about myself and you
So i seek to know more for what i knew is not enough
Yea... knowing what i knew yesterday is far superceded by what i know today and what i will know in the future shall be even greater
How do i know? It's through the WORD

In seeking to know more, i stumble upon the fact that i cannot know it all
Because knowing you is knowing truth for a lifetime, being transformed into that knowledge and then learning to know more each day
So there is more of you to know and i want more of you
And when i think i have known all there is, i realize i want to know more
For the more that i know that i know that i know, i still need to keep knowing

I mean i know more and even much more each day
Yet, i know i do not know enough for there much yet i do not know now to be revealed on this journey of "US"
Indeed, I can't get enough of you, gotta have more
So when does knowing that i know supercede or replace the more i need to know? I guess it just never really ends!

So i say to myself when that tiny voice in my head says I've known enough to say that I know it all
Know that's when indeed when what I know needs more
No, its not like sense, logic or by the letter but revelation of the Word
Knowing thru unveiled eyes, the ministry of angels, visions and miracles
The Word that I must personally find out myself
Knowing is what takes us over... ha! someone i know calls it getting high on The Most High!

We need to know over and again
Jesus,we need to know you more
The more we know you, the more we want to know you
Let complacency be uprooted!
For when we know that we know and we know there is more to know upon what we already know that is when we know that truly knowing is for life... to be transformed daily into what we seek to know and know more.

I have so much to thank God for. Much more than words can really express except with the groaning of my spirit. He is good and His faithfulness endures forever.

Daddy,

I want to let you know that i love you so much. Sometimes it's hard to say that to you in the way i really want due to the hustle and bustle of life but then, i remember that i cannot fully express how grateful i am enough for all that you have done for me and so i worship you with every fibre of my being.

Thankyou for the HOLY SPIRIT. Indeed, He is the greatest gift to me!

Thank You ...

For all the times i felt a strong conviction for Jesus instead of Islam, i knew it was You telling me the way of life ....

For all the times, i felt a zeal for You in my childhood, i knew it was the Holy Spirit and although i did not have all the answers, I knew i had to follow you.

For all the times, your Spirit brought me back from wandering and backsliding away from my destiny, i knew You'd been holding my hands all along.

For all the times, You sheilded me from peer pressure, wrong influences and the consequences of bad decisions, i knew it was Your seal upon me whom you have called your own.

For when someone so dear to me passed away, someone i looked up to and cerished for guiding me thus far in life... You were there to comfort me and you sent others to stand in the gap.

For everytime i seem uncertain about the choices surrounding my destiny/future, Your Spirit urges me in the right direction

For everytime i sit and listen to the word of God in church and something stirs deep down in me as i hear Your Word, I knew i was hearing the voice of God made personal to me.

For your Word, i am grateful ... for to hear the word is to hear life& increase in faith and to do the word is to manifest/demonstrate that God-life in my circumstances, the lives of others in order to make an impact and change circumstances until i am continually transformed into the Living Word itself!!

For all the times You have made my heart weep for lost souls, You let me know that you are training me as a vessel of honour and of reconciliation of mankind to You.

For everytime i feel that i have had to go through some unnecessary hardships in life which i resent, You are there telling me that its for a purpose to mould me into Fortress of faith.

For when i just want to have someone to pour out to and vent to and share things with and finding no one and i need this and i need that, i know that all i really need is YOU ... ALL other things shall be added as the bible says.

For each time, i stood singing my lungs out with outstretched arms in worship...tears streaming down my eyes....i knew Your hand had just gently touched my heart and You enveloped me in Your embrace.

You keep telling me that there more in store and much deeper levels of intimacy to be found in you. I live and learn everyday but for today, I just want to say thankyou Daddy.

Sorry, it has taken so long to update... no, it's not writer's block, lol. God is good as always and is taking us through different phases of teaching and moulding... will put down all that i have learnt in time away very soon. Thanks Pea for tagging me on "What am i thankful for?" ... i will be putting it up shortly!

I have found out some very interesting facts about praying in tongues and the fact that it ought not to be reserved until sunday service and midweek service or whenever you are in church. You need to speak during your day or week for a substantial amount of time. It is fellowshipping with the Holy Ghost within you.

1. it is an antidote for stress and sadness.... it just brings a serenity to your spirit about stuff and you know that all things worketh together for your good.

2. it prevents one from dwindling in his/her spiritual life. it maintains that fire, that fervency from growing cold. Your longing after spiritual things and things of God just cannot fizzle out when you adopt this. When you pray in other tongues, you edify your spirit.

I Corin 14:4 (4He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church)

Edify also means embold and to build one's spirit.

Take time to pray for at least 10-15 minutes everyday in tongues....you can always do more time as the Spirit leads you. And with all that, let's get something refreshingly different now.

Tenacious - as my state of mind - "holding together; cohesive; not easily pulled asunder; tough."

"Prov 10:4" Lazy hands make a man poor,
but diligent hands bring wealth.

Heb 11:6" And without faith, it is impossible to please God.

My tenacity, my tenacity
yet another word that represents my diligence and consistency. How meticulous am I in that which i hold paramount to my future and the pedestal to which i am magnified and heights to which i envision myself to be amplified to?

My tenacity ...
I have always said I was born a legend, I know who i am
I was born to make an impact, to model greatness
The sky is not my limit but a starting point
How tenacious am I about the goals and ambitions as high as skyscrapers that tower before me?

Are they cohesive to my mind, unshakable, revving in my spirit and motivating me until i cannot back down? Do i forge ahead like a roaring Lion, come what may with the shield of faith as defence?

My tenacity
Is it reflecting in how dearly and precious the word of God is to me?
Am i just another passionate worker in God's house or is the evidence of God's dwelling in me through ministeration of power and wonder really manifested in my life?

Is the in-born sufficiency and ability taken over me so much so that i live for and experience this divnity?

I refuse to be just another statistic, I make the statistics...
The world has no perfect system, yea, i dictate the system that works for me
This is my tenacity with which i lung after the future, it takes me over until i know nothing else

So much ambition, So much dreams..... the ability to tenaciously work at them and bring it into being over the shortest possible time ....

A New Dawn

I lift my gaze to the hills and I catch the sparkle of the sun as it glistens against the pupil of my eye. The rays of hope shone down upon me and I know there is no darkness that can keep me from shining… It is my season to shine.

I close my eyes and spread my arms open wide as the wind streaks through the curls on my scalp. Everyday presents an opportunity to conquer and I know I can always spread my wings and fly… I soar with wings as an eagle.

With five fingers on both hands stretched out across my chest, I breathe a sigh and smile. Contentment in my spirit is what I feel and it says that the heavens and the earths are fashioned to my favour. Such is the indomitability in which I dominate and subdue my circumstances.

I feel the imprints of my feet against the sandy shores of the ocean. My steps become a steady tempo that synchronizes to the beat of my heart. As many are the sands beneath my feet, so innumerable are the accomplishments that are and will be birthed from me.

Gentle trickles of rain outside my window I hear as it synchronizes to the gushing of my tears. But it’s not the rain’s semblance to the tears that counts but the purity of the joy it represents. This joy transcends any other emotion I’ve ever fathomed and I know I can never have a dull moment.

Ocean tides wash me knee-deep until I am threatened to be drowned and today I am drowning …… sinking deep, then even deeper …….. in the aura of God’s love for me. It’s not just a new dawn today but forever.

Blessing: A blessing is God's supernaural ability that works on a man's ability that makes that man to live supernaturally and accomplish spiritually. It will work for you too.

I was reading "Shirel", Pea's blog in the early hours of this morning and thinking to myself.... she must have been in my head when she wrote that. How is it that she's thinking all that i've been, could we be twins? In any case, i was blessed because i could most definitely relate on a deeper level and i am sure all the women of God out there will be equally blessed by it.

Prayer is very important concerning these things and mehn! that is just the bottom line, the thing that binds all the factors and ensures you cannot go wrong. I admit maybe i been day-dreaming about that fervent and loving Man of God who will sweep me off my feet more than i should have been praying about him. That is immediately corrected.

Anyways, the thing that bug me is this... our paths must cross and we must recognize each other at the appointed time. Imagine if he was the person walked up to me in a few months from now and i rejected him out of ignorance ???? I always try to envision all the different scenarios in which God will bring him so that i can know and say "YES" instead of hesitating or saying no. Or what if i said yes to someone only to find he was not the ideal person for me? I always like to be friends with people for a certain amount of time (my period of observing and studying them) before anything jumps off. Will it be that way too? What if the feeling is not mutual? Behold, God will not give me a man in whom i find not attractive or the capacity to be equally in love with..... the thought is quite stiffling i must say. Jehovah knows my taste and what i am looking for. Trust me Lord, its nothing too complicated really. Very simple qualities, yet deeply profound and extremely rare/precious. Funny enough, i know the Holy Spirit orders my steps and orchestrates all things surrounding my life and future so it is well. I must say that i am quite tired of thinking of where he is and when he will arrive or if he has already arrived and has not spoken to me yet even though i am having premature crushes and silently thinking " Is it him?" ... "Oh please, let it be him but if he doesn't come to me, then maybe its not him" - what unecessary emotional gargle. And then again I hear God speaks ... " You need not think or worry ..... Only pray, be beauiful and develop urself if you are to be the "good wife" that proverbs talks about : "Whosoever findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD” (Prov 18:22). It then means that bad or inadequate wives exist or else the qualifer there which is "good" would not be there and God forbid... i am an exception for i cut out to be excellent in being a wife by His grace. He says, "... and when it seems you have prayed that you do not know what to pray for anymore, ony just pray in the Holy Ghost, speaking in tongues."

Yes, that's right .... I am making myself a quality woman to befit a quality man. If i can be beautiful, intelligent, successful in career, well versed in parenting, fostering a household where God is glorified, then, that is great. I must now be an excellent woman, well-rounded and spiritually grounded too, full of virtue, purity and utmost integrity. A dynamic voice of reason and influence. A blessing.

Honestly, thinking about the man from whose rib i am moulded from has become a bit draining..... the emotions and feelings involved if not careful can get you worrisome but it is well. I keep praying that God will keep him and develop him to be all that he needs to be in life and in Jesus Christ. There is only person from whose rib I am formed by you, oh God and only he will have me.

God , you know me and love me even more than i know and love myself ..... i keep reminding myself that prayer, prayer , prayer..... Jem.... prayer !!!! You have to fall back on prayer. And prayer will preserve him, keep him, develop him to love you as Christ loved us, to cherish you above all ...... and prayer will make it to be a TWO-WAY thing. I guess this two-way issue keeps fluterring in my head. And thru thick and thru thin, for better, for worse.... our love will prevail... i'm looking for something genuine and long lasting for a lifetime. Christ birthed eternal lifein me and has loved me to eternity....such should be the experience with him. That he would love me for my very soul... the length and breadth of me.

Sometimes the truth is that some christians are lazy ....praying and praying and declaring refusing take a step of faith to do the necessary things we ought to in order to realize what we want. There is a part we have to play ..... go after the business or mark....get education, knowledge and wisdom. Apply it and learn what it takes to be an effective person .... God bestowed every tool for success in me. I must bring it out now cuz ain't nobody can do it for me but me.

Do you know that you are beautiful? Now, I don't mean that in an artificial way but do you really know that you are beautiful? You are God's masterpiece art of perfection created to show forth his glory at work within you. You should always radiate beauty in your heart.

Genesis 1:27

You were created in his image and likeness therefore, eveything that God is, is actually in you - His grace, joy, peace, success, prosperity, health and provision. Anything contrary to that is not part of God's beauty for you. We are not begging God to give us, he already did so but the problem is that some of us are not concsious of who we really are.

Never again should see yourself as hurt and hurting because if you are beauty itself, then your life must be beauty but you will not walk in that beauty until you learn to see it with your own eyes. You will not experience what your mind refuses to fathom and will not see what your eyes refuse to see/believe. Do not listen to the lies that push you to remain comfortable or content with the situations that life throws at you. Reach for the beauty within and let it radiate until it overtakes every aspect of your life!

1. My hair is a natural kinky. I guess i kind of grew tired of relaxing my hair and all that. I just put it up in braids or twists now most of the time.

2. I am a very straightforward person, as REAL as it gets. I like to be point blank about everything, well, most things because i do not like beating about the bush on issues or when people do. (This IS NOT the same thing as being blunt)

3. I have a love for everything about being a woman and a homemaker which is being developed more as time goes on ... fashion, raising kids, parenting, cooking, gardening, interior decoration. I watch the shows on television like Nanny 911, TLC's what not to wear, Food Network, anything that has to do with modern contemporary decor etc ......i'm sure ya'll know the rest.

4. I have this fantasy for travelling and although i have not done much just yet, i intend to travel the world (Asia, Europe, South Africa, Australia etc) with my future spouse & soul-mate, afterall.... this life is to enjoy.

5. I used to take Taekwando in elementary school when i was a kid. I loved self-defense classes and Martial arts etc. I still love movies with sword fights ( DING !! Last Samurai ? Kill Bill ?) I have forgotten all the kicks and what not now sha. They have been replaced with the armour of the Holy Ghost.

I experience the true love of Christ with my spouse (a person after your heart, prepared for me by You) and we both recognize ourselves at the appointed time and what the future holds for us.

I am totally given over to him/her and the fruits of our union, nevertheless, we put the Lord before ourselves for You are the only one who matters most.

The word of God governs our home and conduct our emotions/feelings towards each other in a way that we are happy and content. Our feelings for each other are an expression of deep respect and appreciation for having one another in our lives and this sweet ceremony of commitment brings reverence to You oh Lord.

The first time i heard this song, i was impressed. Tye is already pretty popular already. I got a copy of his album, lent someone to listen to and trust, it never came back. Needless to say, it's good. This particular song is titled "Victory." Amen, we have overcome the world through Jesus, Victory is our right!

It's interesting the way music evolves. There seems to be a generation gap between jazz, classical music, blues etc and hip-hop, reggae, r&b etc. Why,some of our youths find certain gospel songs and hymns pretty "boring." By the time i have kids, i wonder what kind of music they will be listening to ... By His grace, only ones that edify. In any case, the youth need to be imapcted for God in the language they understand before the world teaches them otherwise and i have found out that the best way is to involve music/ performing arts/ theatre ... things that get young people worked up and if it's gotta be rap and hip-hop, hey!, so be it. But, not excluding "The Word." At the end of the day, it's still the Word of God and His gospel that counts the most as real spiritual content.

Anyways, we have also seen a lot of people .... no offence intended like R. Kelly, Kanye West, Fantasia etc who sing gospel and then go back to singing secular or start with wordly , switch only to release a gospel album and then back to secular thus conforming to the pressures of the music industry and what's hype. It's almost like they are truly uncertain about their purpose and music. Thank God for those who remain true to who they are and have defined what their message is. Watch this interesting interview:

It is not so much that we are inadequate but the fear of inadequacy thereof which pushes us to long after a twisted sense of belonging in a world that is not for us.

Each and everyone of us has the capacity to be comfortable in our own skin, being who we are and respected for it. Peer pressure and influence, even lack of self will and insecurity; they push a person to wear a mask, but that is not your identity, neither is it mine, so why try to force it? It's getting old. What I need to do is stop fighting the voice inside that's telling me to stay true to who i am and follow the light. I know who I am.

Learn to be yourself and stop thinking you're not good enough or have not done and accomplished enough in life as you should. Muster whatever courage and confidence you've got and be true to the voice that says:

I love myself
I am secure
I am loved and lovable
I am a success
I have everything i need because He supplies all my needs
I have the will to carry through & strategize into reality my dreams and goals through wisdom of things known and unknown (Proverbs 2: 6)
I don't need to measure up to so so and so or use them as a yardstick
I don't have to compare myself to others and what they have
The future is in my hands, i can chart the course of my life unto greatness
I am accomplished and I can reach for the skies
I have God and stake my life on his word (Prov 3: 5&6)

Friendship

For some divine reason, i am led to write on this:

I believe that true a friend appreciates you for who you are
That person looks out for your best interest and is more about giving than recieving
A good friend is someone i can call out of the blue and confide in and know that i will truly be listened to and consoled
A friend is someone i have great communication with, who cares and who sacrifices out of love
If i love a friend, i will go out of my way to help that peron in a time of need
If i love a friend, i will not hold grudges against he/she for i value who that person is
A friend respects you and aways looks out for you
A friend is someone who sticks closer than a brother
A friend is someone i can turn to when no one else hears
A friend is someone who shapes my personality and i, in turn shapes him/her for the better
Iron sharperns iron and that is what we are there for
A friend is that special someone who sharpens you and you sharpen them
It occurs to me that is has nothing to do with just having things in common or getting extra company so you're not alone, it is about impacting each other's lives significantly in a positive manner. being there for each other.
Friendship is true love and love is not selfish in nature, neither does it have an oversized ego/pride
Behold, a person has many acquaintances, but the real definition of a friend, ye are few
One must define the difference between who is a friend and who is an acquaintance, two things that people often mix up
A friend is real and true

There is something deep inside every person that yearns for friendship, somewhat of a confidante, people who can pull you through this life either by way of encouragement or deed. Someway, somehow, un-meaninful relationships with people can become a distraction or a limitation.

And pls remember, in as much as people love to have friends, it is "ABSOLUTELY OKAY" to fly solo if it's your thing. You do not need that particular someone or group of persons to make you feel like you have arrived. All you need is a good social life and the ability to get along with people of different backgrounds without isolating yourself.

That said, the only one true friend there ever is who never dissappoints is Jesus. To know him & fellowship with him is everything, and next, to know a fellow friend who displays all His qualities/faithfulness is nothing except indeed glorious.

A REASON, A SEASON, A LIFETIME ...

I read this article somewhere and i cannot help but see that it has so much truth in it. I hope you will gain from it too.

People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.
When you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to do.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend, and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrong -doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.

When people come into your life for a SEASON, it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person/people (anyway); and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

PRAISE DANCE

Recently, i decided to explore worship through dance. You see dance is a form of expression and when put to use in praise and worship through music, it is so powerful. Anything that will move you to express yourself through body movements and body language is very intimate because most times it is an expression of how you feel deep inside... either you feel very good and it shows or not. That is why is so necessary to move your body and gesture when praising God because your body is the temple of the HolySpirit and worship becomes personal when you just like participate and put yourself in it.

It is not enough to just stand there and stare at other people when the songs are going on. Sing them, understand their meanings and the magnitude of what they are saying. e.g.

"You've turned my mourning into dancing" ... How can one not jump at that!!! Boy! The Lord took every source of sadness or mourning and depression from you and turned it into dancing. You see, it is what you confess with your mouth and act out that you experience.

The key to lasting joy is praise and worship. A true worshipper can never be depressed.

Sure, at first, you may feel bad but you just keep worshipping and participating with all that is within you and suddenly the Holy Spirit takes you over and you are just gliding. Your heart becomes overwhelmed with an assurance , a peace from the Lord. That is what i do. It's been tried, tested and true.

SPANISH GOSPEL - PAULIS SANCHEZ

As I was browsing through Zamar Lounge's website, a christian jazz/blues lounge that holds some events every month in Toronto, i came across Paulis Sanchez' music ad and i have been listening to the song "Seguro En Ti" and "En Ti Jehovah" ever since. That thing has just been on constant repeat. Check out her website. Suffice to say ... she is excellent!

There is something about Spanish.... i mean, you cannot understand the words they speak but someway and somehow that songs takes over your spirit and ministers to you.

Now i understand what it means for spirit to know all things even when your human mind cannot fathom and understand because you see the human is limited by his senses but the spirit is not. The eyes of the spirit are not limited, neither are they bound by the physical. No wonder one's spirit can hear the word through a song or a sermon and receive the deposition of healing or the solution to a problem even when the human mind does not understand. But that which the spirit understands, it will bring to the understanding of your mind. That is how to live supernaturally. It's like i know exactly what she is saying because my spirit brings revelation to me.

Anyways, this song has blessed me so much so .... its amazing how these very mellow and subtle songs sear the innermost parts of me .... tugging at my heart strings playfully and causing me to appreciate God so much, this life and the joy he places in my being deep down. It's so expressive of worship , yet words cannot adequately magnify how i feel for God at times like this. Music is definitely a powerful tool in worship and i feel God minister to me .........

Well, there is one thing for sure ... i will definitely be listening to this song for a long while.

DESTINY AND THE CROSS

And you rose again on the third day that the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives within my born-again spirit. Halleluyah !!!!

That is the reason why the bible says "greater is He who is in you than He who is in the world" for a greater power resides in us. How can there be sickness and cancer? How can there be depression and sadness? How can there be a situation that i cannot get out of. I speak the word of God to that circumstance and command it to change by faith and the principles of the Kingdom of God!

Oh when would the beloved of God realize that they have the power to change their destiny within them. Don't wait for no one ....I will chart the course of my future right now! ........ oh Jesus! how awesome is your love

You gave me a bottom line to go by .......... that no matter what, I should never forget how you love me and nobody, not family, not friends, not anyone can dictate the measure by which i should feel loved because I KNOW IT. IT IS A FACT...... once it is a part of me, nothing can pull me down.

My steps are ordered, my destiny is sure.........plans of good towards an expected end.
